The IAI Asia Pacific Federation of Designers international council meeting was held in Shanghai in 13th December 2012. The core members attended were as follows: the IAI founding director Mr. He Changcheng; the director of IAI expert committee green design center for strategic studies Mr. Chen guangxiong; the President of Holland Interior Design Assocoation Mr. Kees Spanjers; the Fashion Design Department chair of Rome Rafael University, Italy and the President of Signumlab Design Association Ms. Dalia Gallico; the Former chair of Singapore Interior Association and IFI past council member, the IAI advisory committee member, interior designer alliance, Mrs Hong meiling; the former chair of Malaysia Interior Design Association MSID Mrs Zhuang zhuwei; Malaysia famous designer and the former chair of Malaysia Interior Design Association IPDM Mr. Vincent Koh. The conference attending committee members from China that including Lizhou、Zhang xiaotian、Liyin、Atang、Zhangcan、Mandeng、 Wang xiaogen 、 Wang xuesong、Zhuwei and others not in the list.








The meeting unanimously passed a vote on the establishment of IAI International council. The representatives from Holland、Italy、 Singapore、Malaysia are invited to become the first core members of IAI international committee. Canada ,America、France、Spain and some other countries from south America will be invited to join the council as well. In the meeting, the above representatives unanimously agreed that they will be committed to build IAI into an International and influential professional organization to promote interior design internationally. The delegates from China had committed to have communication and network among each other for their local activities in the following year and they will submit their individual plan before the 31st of December 2012.

We plan to complete establishing the council organization before 31st December 2012 and will set up the IAI International Council Secretariat which will be responsible for running the daily affairs of this International organization and also to make plans for the local and international activities in 2013.
