In June 2026, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony for the four-party joint development of the transnational green industry was successfully held at Pangu Venture Shanghai Center. Centering on the core themes of "Green Sustainability, Empowerment through Science and Innovation, Cultural Export and Global Coexistence", this event adopted a four-party joint development model to gather top international design IP, overseas green industry resources, core science and innovation carriers in Shanghai and comprehensive industrial ecological resources. It officially ushered in a new stage of global layout for the transnational green ecology, cultural and creative design industries.

This closed-door signing ceremony featured a streamlined lineup of high-ranking attendees. Oskar Ho, Founder and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Designers Federation and IAI Global Design Award, Mai Hanyun, Secretary-General of the Solomon Islands Foundation for Green and Sustainable Development, Wang Xing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation, Jiang Weijun, Chairman of Pangu Venture Capital, and Li Ziping, Founder of Shanhai Alliance, were all present and signed the four-party strategic cooperation agreements on behalf of the four major cooperating parties. Core members of the Asia Pacific Designers Federation and key teams from all cooperating parties witnessed the landmark cooperation, laying a solid foundation for follow-up collaborative projects including the joint construction of cross-border industrial parks, research on ecological civilization topics, innovation in green architecture and the export of Chinese culture.

Within the four-party cooperation framework, the strategic partnership between the Solomon Islands Foundation for Green and Sustainable Development, the Asia Pacific Designers Federation and the IAI Global Design Award platform serves as the core pillar and key cooperation segment of the four-party collaboration.

Leveraging the core strengths of both sides, in-depth collaboration will be carried out in two major core sectors in the future: green ecological architecture, international ecological civilization research, and the cross-border export of Chinese culture. The Solomon Islands Foundation for Green and Sustainable Development will give full play to its advantages in local ecological land, under-forest resources, overseas industrial policies, cross-border project implementation as well as investment and financing in the Solomon Islands. Meanwhile, the Asia Pacific Designers Federation and the IAI Global Design Award platform will fully mobilize top global designer resources, cooperation networks with domestic and foreign universities and research institutions, R&D capabilities in architectural, industrial, cultural and creative design, the intangible cultural heritage IP operation system, and the core value of world-class international event platforms.

The two parties will jointly set up a special research group under the International Ecological Civilization Research Institute, building a professional industrial support system integrating academic research, technical demonstration, standard formulation and project feasibility studies. They will also launch a global incubation program for green science and innovation targeting university students and emerging designers, facilitating the implementation of cutting-edge concepts of green architecture, ecological landscapes, smart living environments and Web3 technology into tangible projects. In addition, the two sides will jointly advance the cross-border industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine, the integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism, and the construction of an international sister-city industrial park system. A dual-center layout will be established, with Shanghai as the pilot global headquarters for science and innovation and Hengqin as the core hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The proven operational model will be standardized and replicated in cities across the globe.

As an important supporting component of the four-party cooperation system, the Solomon Islands Foundation for Green and Sustainable Development has also reached strategic coordination with the other two partner institutions to improve the overall closed-loop implementation system.

The foundation entered into a strategic cooperation for the joint development of science and innovation carriers with Pangu Venture Shanghai Center led by Jiang Weijun, Chairman of Pangu Venture Capital. Relying on premium science and innovation spaces, mature incubation services and industrial operation systems in Shanghai, the center will undertake core responsibilities including investment promotion for transnational projects, headquarters operation, connection between government and enterprise resources, and revitalization of existing domestic industries. It will guarantee the localized implementation of a series of cross-border green industry projects and form a two-way closed-loop mechanism covering the introduction of overseas resources, incubation of domestic industries and global outreach.

Furthermore, the foundation forged a strategic partnership for the joint development of a comprehensive industrial ecosystem with Shanhai Alliance founded by Li Ziping. This alliance will integrate high-quality cross-industry resources, national urban cooperation channels and influential industry communities, providing all-round ecological support for the multi-scenario implementation, regional expansion and innovative integrated development of green and sustainable projects.

The four-party signing event in Shanghai has successfully built a brand-new closed-loop transnational cooperation model combining overseas core local resources, leading international design and science innovation IP platforms, Shanghai-based science and innovation headquarters carriers and a comprehensive industrial ecosystem matrix. It marks that three core undertakings — green ecological architecture, international ecological civilization development and the export of Chinese culture — have stepped into a new phase of systematic, platform-based and globalized development.
