Beijing IAI Creative Practice Base Inaugural Exhibition Preparations Underway

In 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of the IAI Design Award, the IAI Organizing Committee announced the official launch of a series of commemorative events. As the opening act of these celebrations and the inaugural exhibition for the Beijing IAI Creative Practice Base, this showcase is jointly organized by the IAI Organizing Committee and the GlowStar Art Foundation. Preparations are now in full swing.

Due to space and timeline constraints, the debut exhibition will adopt a curated format, featuring select outstanding award-winning works from the 18th IAI Design Award Autumn Competition (2025). These high-quality designs will make their debut in Beijing, serving as a prelude to the official opening of the Beijing IAI Creative Practice Base while setting the stage for the 20th-anniversary festivities.

Since its inception in 2006, the IAI Global Design Award has grown into an internationally influential creative design competition. In 2026, IAI will unveil an upgraded "One Core, Two Wings" competition framework to further drive design innovation, global exchange, and industry integration. Following this inaugural exhibition, IAI will roll out major thematic exhibitions, international forums, annual award ceremonies, and other milestone events.

As a co-organizer, the GlowStar Art Foundation will support the exhibition's execution and promotion, fostering international cultural exchange and creative dissemination.
