In 2017, the classic shape of the IAI Design Award trophy was conceived under the personal guidance of Mr. Oskar Ho, President of the Award, and co-created by renowned French designer Mr. Eric Gizard. By 2025, to align with the Award's vision for future development, the IAI trophy has undergone a significant evolution. Under Mr. Oskar Ho's personal supervision, the new trophy retains the classic design DNA while implementing crucial adjustments and optimizations to material craftsmanship, the presentation of the IAI Logo, and the color system.

This upgrade goes beyond just the Best Design Award, Gold and Silver Awards—we have also reimagined the Bronze Award, transforming it from its traditional medal format into a dedicated trophy that is seamlessly integrated with the overall award system. From now on, all IAI awards will feature a unified trophy design, witnessing the immortal elevation of every creation from concept to tangible form. This marks a comprehensive new phase for the IAI award system, moving towards integrated styling and ceremonial honors, and it is a gesture of equal respect and grand tribute to every awardee, regardless of the award level.
