On October 14, 2024, Oskar Ho , President of the Asia Pacific Designer Federation, was invited to attend the "Visualiy Dayily. Visual Daily" international design education series academic event at Nanjing University of the Arts. He shared his personal understanding of current design innovation education at the seminar and introduced the Asia Pacific Designer Federation's development cooperation plan and practice plan based on industry university research to representatives of Chinese and foreign design schools on site. During this period, President Oskar also had pleasant exchanges with leaders such as Jiang Jiejie, Dean of the School of Design at Nanjing University of the Arts, and Cai Shujuan, Vice Dean. The two sides also discussed the feasibility plan of Nanjing University of the Arts and the Asia Pacific Designer Alliance jointly building an international design research platform, forming a long-term mechanism that can help Nanjing University of the Arts education develop towards high-quality innovation. Finally, both sides expressed their high expectations for future cooperation and expressed their willingness to jointly promote the signing of cooperation agreements and carry out relevant academic activities as soon as possible.
This event is jointly organized by Nanjing University of Arts and C-IDEA Association, and hosted by the School of Design, International Exchange Office, and Art Museum of Nanjing University of Arts. This international design education series of academic activities will take "visual daily life" as the starting point to explore visual design, education, and future development trends in today's technological environment. The event will include academic lectures, roundtable forums, "Visual Perception" workshops, and exhibitions of C-IDEA Design Award winning works.
