On the morning of June 18, 2021, IAI Design Forum was held in Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center. The theme of the forum was "The unknown design in the future after the pandemic". Six designers and architects from different design fields and countries, including China, the United States, Belgium, Colombia, the Netherlands and other countries, gave their speeches towards the topic. This is also the second international design forum organized in the form of offline and online since the pandemic started in 2020.

Zeng Guanwei, design director of Xiamen East Design Decoration Eng.Co., Ltd., vice-dean of Xiamen East Design Research Institute, served as the academic host of the forum.

Zhang Ming, Academician of the American Institute of Architects, design director of MZA Architectural Design Co., Ltd., delivered an online video lecture entitled "Humanity, health, experience, science and technology - design reflections on high-density urban center in the post-pandemic era”

Chen Yuhai (China), the founder of ZombiesCat, contemporary trend artist, delivered the themed speech of "Original IP from 0 to 1"

Kees Spanjers, co-chairman of APDF, former president of ECIA, president of the Netherlands National Interior Design Association delivered a themed speech.

Giancarlo Mazzanti, founder of Mazzanti Architects, the first winner of the IAI Most Creativity Award, delivered a themed speech of  "Trend".

Yao Zhennan, World Expo landscape expert, expert of Shanghai Construction Committee, director of China State Construction Landscaping Center, delivered a themed speech of "How shall we live" after the pandemic".
