"Design empowers the city, creativity boosts culture" theme seminar---"Historic district embraces new business formats" and the Xiaoyanglou Merchants Association

On August 28th, Heping District held the "Historic District Embraces New Business Forms" the Little Western House (Xiaoyanglou) Investment Promotion Conference. This meeting is one of the opening ceremony series of the 3rd IAI International Design Festival. Oskar Ho and some domestic and foreign guests of IAI International Design Festival were invited to attend this conference. At the meeting, relevant leaders of Heping District first broadcast the history, current situation and future master plan of Heping District. At the same time, they played a promotional video on the investment promotion of Xiaoyanglou; the participants focused on promoting the integration of the historical accumulation of Xiaoyanglou with contemporary world trends and the intelligent operation of the carrier. Using artistic and creative elements to give Xiaoyanglou a new look and other aspects to carry out exchanges and discussions, share design concepts and experience, offer suggestions on the development and utilization of Xiaoyanglou resources, and put forward very constructive opinions and suggestions. It was pointed out at the meeting that Xiaoyanglou is the most representative cultural symbol and city mark of Tianjin, which has the dual values of historical culture and commercial development. In order to protect and make good use of the golden carrier of Xiaoyanglou, Heping District resolutely implements the deployment requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government that integrates the resources of the Xiaoyanglou with the conditions. Making the "face value" to its actual value, which has attracted Alibaba, 360 Network, Lenovo Group and other leading Internet companies settled in; fully explore the historical and cultural resources of Xiaoyanglou, and use this as a link to promote central enterprises such as Sinochem Group and COFCO Capital that have grown up from Xiaoyanglou to "seeking roots" in the district. Taking root in development and taking advantage of the opportunity of holding the third IAI International Design Festival in Tianjin to truly realize "historical districts embrace new forms of business".  Urban historical business cards carry new elements of creative design. Promoting the transformation and upgrading of Tianjin city and industry. Achieving talent gathering, industry gathering , creative gathering, intelligent gathering, and cultural gathering goal.
