In December 12, 2012, the first “IAI ASIA- EUROPE DESIGN MASTER DIALOGUE FORUM”was held in Shanghai International Conference Center by IAI ASIA PACIFIC FEDERATION OF DESIGNERS. About two hundred design elites and design experts attended this forum. The participant appreciated the excellent speech of the six utmost famous design masters who comes from Asia and Europe. The invited speakers made excellent and conclusive lectures in the field that involve: modern luxury brand exhibition display halls and modern buildings, hotel Interior design ,high- tech electronic products; high quality luxury life style apartments, fashion design and management; they have combine their own rich culture and expertise   in their lectures. Thus it truly reflects the spirit of the concept of this forum, that is”Integration, Straddling, Green”. This forum came to a complete success!

The speakers of this forum including the Fashion Design Department chair of Rome Rafael University, Italy and the President of Signumlab Design Association Ms. Dalia Gallico; Italy Ferrari display hall designer Ms Barbara Delucca; Malaysia famous designer and the former chair of Malaysia Interior Design Association IPDM Mr. Vincent Koh;the central institute of fine arts in urban design, vice President of the college, professor, master tutor Mr Huang Jiancheng;the President of Holland Interior Design Assocoation Mr. Kees Spanjers; Japan master designer Toshiyuki Kita and international famous architect and interior designer Mr Liang Zhi Tian. The forum president and the director of IAI ASIA PACIFIC FEDERATION OF DESIGNERS committee green design strategic studies Mr Chen Guang Xiong made a conclusion of this forum as “even though every speaker only has twenty minutes, they have shown their achievements and experiences in the direction of the future design. They also have relentlessly shared the design experiences with the audience with great success. This forum with the interesting topics and diverse culture in Eastern and Western design have made the audience asked a lot of questions during the Q and A section which is one of the climax at the end of the conference, in view of the limited time given.

In conclusion, the integration of science, technology and wisdom in this Design Forum will shows its value and impact in the future of design.
