The Initiation Ceremony of APDF International Cities Creative Connection- Jilin,Changchun organized by  Asia Pacific Designers Federation (APDF) and co- organized by Jilin Jianzhu University was held on the morning of September 15, 2015 in Yifu Teaching Building,Jilin Jianzhu University. The majority of leaders of all walks of life in the care and support brought the conference to a successful conclusion.

Firstly Oskar He,Founding President of Asia Pacific Designers Federation and APDF Secretary General , addressed and made keynote speech “Declaration of the Initiation Ceremony of APDF International Cities Creative Connection” . He pointed out that innovation as the pillar of the sustainable development is the key to urban sustainability, and APDF International Cities Creative Connection was established because of basing on the vision and mission of the federation. He also presented that urban development and the need of industry transformation, then cities of the 21st century will represent what stage of human civilization,and that the answer will depend on the attitude held by the contemporary people to the urban development. Finally he suggested that designers should take a more positive attitude and practice to participate in urban construction and development in the future.

Secondly Zhang chenglong , Representative of the organizer,vice- chancellor of Jilin Jianzhu University, gave the welcoming remarks. Principal zhang first extended a warm welcome to the arrival of the guests, and expressed congratulations to APDF to settle the international city of creative platform in changchun and the APDF will gave thanks to theevent in Jilin Jianzhu University, also said that Jilin Jianzhu University is willing with the social from all walks of life in the future to provide more support to the development of the platform.

Zhao Jianhua,Representative of institutions of cooperation and Executive Vice President and secretary general Changchun Cultural Industry Union , adressed. He pointed that Changchun is a modern cultural city with rich talent pool, and that the Initiation Ceremony of  APDF International Cities Creative Connection- Jilin,Changchun will play an important role in the development of Changchun,providing more opportunities and talent exchanges  for urban development in the northeast region of China and northeast Asian region.

Qi Weimin, president of APDF Greater China Jilin Council, gave the welcoming remarks.He said that Jilin Jianzhu University as co- organizer of the Initiation Ceremony of APDF International Cities Creative Connection- Jilin,Changchunwas the first step to promote research and development of Jilin Jianzhu University, and he himself also will made itsown contributions to the development of creative industry of changchun city.
