APDF International Cities Creative Connection Forum was held on the morning of September 15, 2015 in Hall of Yifu Teaching Building,Jilin Jianzhu University. It is an important part of the launch of APDF International Cities Creative Connection -Jilin,Changchun.

Firstly Vicente Guallart Furio, Vice- Chairman of Asia Pacific Designers Federation Council and Spain master architect, made keynote speech”the Urban Design and Innovation of the Information Age”.Barcelona is famous as the Olympic city,and is also a crazy for soccer, therefore, as the city of Barcelona designer Vicente Guallart Furio first in the Olympic Games host as the main line, respectively introduced the construction and planning of the Olympic cities such as Barcelona, Atlanta, London, Dubai and so on.And he pointed out the significance of sports for urban planning. The Mr.Vicente focused on the urban design of Barcelona, and stated design concept of “many slow cities inside an smart city”, and that community reasonable planning would be gotten into consideration from perspective of people's housing, education, sharing space, shopping and so on.Meanwhile Barcelona in the urban expansion and urban renewal, development of efficient urban traffic network, and regarded people and the environment as the top priority, seeking the balance of urban progress and environmental protection.

Secondly Zuo Hengfeng,Associate professor of the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts and Jury of IAI Design Award made keynote speech”Materials and Design of Collaborative Innovation”.Professor Zuo first proposed that materials and design are mutually driven collaborative innovation.The essence of design：DREAM,SOLUTION, RELATIONSHIP. He shared the practical cases and the latest research results in vivid and accurate language, and proposed that interdisciplinary collaborative innovation mainly displays in the MATERIALand DESIGN. Material innovation in several aspects such as thought, resources, exploration, feeling, function, emotion, pattern and so on.While the design innovation mainly displays in: proper use of multiple feelings, feeling compatibility VS conflict, design of synesthesia, cultural symbol elements and so on; Finally professor Zuo put forward the aesthetics of deformities, interactive dynamic aesthetics and aesthetic economics,ect.

Thirdly Zhao Rui, 2014 IAI Design Award winner, CEO and Design director of V2 Gether Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., made keynote speech “Design from the Perspective of Life”. Mr. Zhao took award- winning work“Food House Restaurant, Huludao”for example,It describes how to take a series of planning, for example, the integration of the overall design and the environment, the vegetation application and integral beautification, the combination of road rational planning and classic amusement,  atmosphere creating and specific functions of interior space etc.intoconsideration during the process of old building reconstruction. Then he also shared some design cases that he involved in in recent years, such as hotel space design, plants, furniture stores, installation art and so on.In the end, he made a conclusion about his creation expeience that there is no fixed pattern in design and design from the perspective of life.

Finally, 2015 APDF International Cities Creative Connection Forum- Design Innovation and Future Cities satisfactorily ended with interaction among guest speakers ,students and designers.

APDF First Jilin Branch Council Members Meeting in Changchun

On the evening of September 15, 2015, APDF First Jilin Branch Council Representatives Meeting was held in Changchun.Leaders of many Jilin universities and the design institutes, designers and representatives of APDF Council focused on and discussed the planning for future work and key point about Jilin Branch Council , and furthermore they agreed on a number of implementation plans. Meanwhile representatives analysed how to take advantage of APDF International Cities Creative Connection to serve Northeast Asia  in detail, initially making a Northeast Asia area creative wired city development plan- Changchun as a starting point, linking Shenyang,Harbin, Russia, South Korea and Japan.
