The purpose of the seminar was to analyze corporate brand design and strategy and evolution of future Chinese companies brands. With the height of the APDF academic platform and the future to gather professional think tank strength, help China's manufacturing industry to achieve the transformation from "Chinese products" to "Chinese brands" to "world brands", the voice of APDF is issued in the process of China moving from a manufacturing power to a innovative power.

On the "2018 Global Brand Value Ranking" published by Forbes, the top ten companies are: Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Disney, Toyota, and the US Telephone and Telegraph. However, China as the world's top 1 industrial manufacturing power，none of the Chinese brands entered the top ten. China is only Huawei's shortlisted and only ranked 79th.Undoubtedly, actively promoting brand strategy and enhancing brand value are the key to the sustainable development of China's manufacturing industry.

APDF Jewelry Brand&Innovation Seminar was held at Shanghai Homevalue APDF International Design Exchange Center on June 14th, Jewelry industry experts, designers, teachers, students and related industry professionals from the Yangtze River Delta region participated in the seminar. This is the first jewelry design salon event held by APJD Asia Pacific Jewelry Design Center since its establishment in December last year. This salon focuses on jewellery brands and innovations, and hopes to explore the development of China's future jewellery brands through seminars.

APDF's second quarter salon event, the Homestay Design Seminar, was held at the Shanghai APDF International Design Exchange Center on May 24th, Fernando Brandao, chief designer of the Brazil Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Joerg , from German, grand prize winner of the IAI Design Awards, Mr. Kevin, director of APDF Homestay Professional Committee, Robet Su, Singapore famous designer,Yang Bo, founder of Suzhou Art Homestay, Ms. Li Xiujie, Chairman of Shanghai Nantingji Hotel Management Co., Ltd. and 20 APDF members from the Yangtze River Delta region attended the seminar, Oskar Ho, the founding chairman of APDF, hosted the seminar. Mr. Kevin from Hangzhou, Yang Bo, founder of Suzhou Art Homestay, and German designer Joerg shared their wonderful cases.
