On December 9, 2018, APDF organized and invited dozens of masters, experts and scholars from domestic and foreign design fields to gather together to witness the establishment of the Asia-Pacific (Suzhou) Jewelry Design Center in Weitang Town, Xiangcheng District, and held the 2018 Jewelry Innovation Design Forum to exchange and discuss relevant topics of jewelry design.

On December 8, 2018, the annual IAI International Design Festival and the 11th Global Design Awards Ceremony were successfully held in Shanghai Exhibition Center. It is understood that the IAI International Design Festival is held annually, aiming at enhancing the innovative image of the city through holding competitions, exhibitions, forums, awards and other creative activities, achieving Talent Gathering and creativity, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the city and industry, and fostering and enhancing the design awareness and aesthetic accomplishment of the public through design and innovation, so as to realize the creation of value and improve the quality of life. As one of the most internationally influential and prestigious design awards in the Asia-Pacific region and even in the world, IAI Design Award has successfully held eleven competitions so far and is now regarded as a new international design award with high recognition and gold content worldwide. This IAI International Design Festival is sponsored by APDF-Asia-Pacific Designers Alliance, supported by the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), Beijing Fashion Academy, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, National Innovation Research Center of Fudan University, School of Design/Mathematical Media of Jiangnan University, Institute of Fashion and Art Design of Rome Saint Raphael, Italy, Shanghai Kuandi Cultural Development Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Capital Map Design. Accounting Consulting Co., Ltd. The event lasted three days and was held in Shanghai and Suzhou.
