  • Shandong University of Art and Design officially joins the APDF Ivy League
    Recently, Shandong University of Art and Design officially partnered with the Asia Pacific Designers Federation (APDF) and successfully signed a cooperation agreement, earning the honor of joining the APDF Ivy League Universities Alliance. This prestigious alliance includes leading domestic and international institutions such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Communication University of China, Sapienza University of Rome, University of Chile, and Spain's IE School of Architecture and Design. The addition of Shandong University of Art and Design further strengthens the alliance's roster. Moving forward, the two parties will focus on key areas such as the development of industry-academia-research integration in design education and platform co-construction. They aim to explore collaborative potential, pool resources, and jointly propel design education to new heights.

  • Chilean University officially joins the Asia Pacific Designers Association Ivy League
    On October 13, 2024, Manuel Amaya, Dean of the School of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University of Chile, and his delegation met with Mr. He Changcheng, Chairman of the Asia Pacific Designer Alliance, at the Beijing Park Plaza Hotel where they were staying. The two sides had in-depth discussions and plans on future cooperation in design education, academic exchange activities, and 2025 cooperation projects.     On October 14, 2024, He Changcheng, Chairman of the Asia Pacific Designer Alliance, was invited to attend the "Visual Daily" international design education series academic event at Nanjing University of the Arts. He shared his personal understanding of current design innovation education at the seminar and introduced the Asia Pacific Designer Alliance's development cooperation plan and practice plan based on industry university research to representatives of Chinese and foreign design schools on site.
