The APDF Nanjing branch first core members meeting held on September 8 in Nanjing. The chairman of APDF, the secretariat of the executive committee, president of Nanjing branch, vice President of Nanjing branch, treasurer, secretary-general, and union legal personnel jointly attended the meeting. The meeting has negotiation with Nanjing branch’s work during first half year and done the summarized and self-criticism. In addition, the meeting focus on what the branch has to carried on in the future. The relevant Nanjing branch’s functionaries at the meeting put forward many constructive Suggestions and comments, especially put forward higher requirement of the management of the branch’s work. it will offers valuable reference for the management and construction of the future branch’s work. In the last part of meeting, the Nanjing branch made an application for holding IAI ten anniversary celebration and the tenth statement IAI global design series of activities in Nanjing, and the application was approved by the Chairman Oskar Ho.

On December 18, 2017, APDF core member of the international council meeting in the bund of Shanghai dongda road was held in the "Chinese construction", honorary President of APDF Liu Yanshen, APDF founder chairman Oskar he(He Chang Cheng), chairman of the joint of APDF Europe Kees Spanjers (the Netherlands), APDF joint chairman lee soon in Asia (South Korea), vice President of APDF Adam Chen (Taiwan), APDF international board of directors Federica Moretti (meaning) and the Emilian (meaning) APDF French director (Eric Gizard), APDF international board of directors Massimo (meaning) and Susanna (meaning) during the first session of IAI international design festival, director of APDF candidate Li Junjun attended the meeting, the meeting is IAI in global promotion and cooperation plan, expansion of APDF upgrade ideas and set up cooperation in global institutions on issues such as the full discussion and exchange, reached a first meeting in Rome, Italy to set up the IAI and design centre willingness from Italy office.

IAI international design festival and IAI 10th anniversary celebrations are held in Shanghai.On December 15th morning, the first IAI international design festival opening ceremony and IAI 10th anniversary celebration held in Shanghai Baoshan district wisdom Bay high-tech park, the theme "design for life", fully reflects the host section design principle.
