The New Timepiece by Dior

Since 2010, the great Maison honors its rich heritage through a collection of exceptional pieces named?Dior?Grand Soir. This collection combines the creativity, the notion of colors and the refined, sophisticated vocabulary of the Maison. Dior has revealed nine new “Grand Soir” watches, taking inspiration from the enchanting and festive nature of fireworks. The unique designs as seen on the bezels and dials showcase elements of gold, diamonds, sapphires, aventurine, and feathers that nod to the brand’s taste for parties and festivities. This “Grand Soir” collection is characterized by an enchanting explosion of color, precious stones and light. Festive colors and illuminations light up the watch dials, as well as their 36mm cases and black patent calfskin straps, featuring a fade-out of silver sparkles. These watches have white or rose gold cases paved with round snow-set diamonds and, for some versions, round sapphires. The dial is finished in glossy black lacquer, contrasting with bursts of different colors, depending on the model. Indeed, each model features a variety of precious stones (diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, pink sapphires and tsavorite garnet) and couture details (feathers). These unique pieces feature quartz movement with adjustment corrector, with hours and minutes hands, and are water-resistant up to 50 meters. Aventurine hand-engraved with gold brings a final precious touch to the case back.
