The Mansion Without Boundaries
ZHANG PENG
In order to meet the needs of the living functions of a family of five, the designer tried to expand more possibilities of the overall space as much as possible, and artfully used a variety of design concepts and techniques to overcome the problem of insufficient lighting in each floor area of the house and the problem of ventilation and humidity in the semi-basement.In the process of design, I also expressed my belief of "to be broad and subtle" in terms of aesthetic needs, intending to make the whole house into a flowing and flexible residential space. Although located in the north of China, there is no waterscape in the house, the overall atmosphere and air feel of the whole space flow as naturally as water.
As far as the eye can see, there is no division of too many walls, there is no need to deliberately focus on a certain angle or space, and there is no need to limit the line of sight to the stacking of materials or a certain pattern. This project hopes that people will be immersed in it, have a sense of comfortable space and breathing, and bring us a relaxing and comfortable residential experience.
