Hisense Optics Lab
As the user group becomes increasingly younger and upgrades consumption, wearing glasses is no longer just to meet people’s living needs, but also showcases their pursuit of fashion and personalization. Therefore, we decided to break the stereotype that traditional optical stores focus on display, lack personalized styles and do not look attractive by creating an “optics lab” that fuses together functions and personality with strong user experience. Inspired by the principle of focusing control of the lens, the spatial layout and design elements are characterized by the convergence from the outside to the center. At the entrance of the store, we center on the new product display area and built a tall “core tube”, which is surrounded by transparent acrylic round tubes and well-arranged white tubes, making it the visual center of the space. The lights on the ceiling and the metal embedded in the floor “converge” to the core tube, in an effort to guide customers to set their eyes to “focus” on the new product display area in the center. To strengthen the guiding effect, we use light-filled and fashionable metal and mirrors to visually connect different spaces and add a sense of layering to the space, allowing customers to follow the track of light to explore the brand story of Hisense Optical Glasses and its craftsmanship. On the right side of the store entrance lies a concave and convex lens wall, in the hope of allowing customers to understand the principle of lenses through the interaction with the wall. Moreover, we highlight the beauty of details through the structure of the exposed exhibition case, presenting the brand’s professional attitude on precision to customers. Inspired by the material matching of frames and lenses, we use plain metal and transparent acrylic to set a professional, limpid spatial tone equipped with rich lighting effects, so as to create a bright, exquisite and professional atmosphere of the “optics lab”.
