2014   "Day" and "Moon" were selected into Qingdao Centennial Artist Exhibition.

2009  Documentary "Zen and Martial Arts integrated into Shaolin Kung Fu" won the 2009 Annual "Jury Award" of Japan Film Association.

My Yellow River for thirty years

Facing the Chinese civilization in the 21st century global village,Thirty years ago, I went upstream from the mouth of the Yellow River to the source of the Yellow River. It took me two and a half months to investigate the cultural ecology of the Yellow River basin, trace the living conditions of our ancestors, and explore the roots of Chinese civilization. In the past 30 years, I have visited the Culture of the Yellow River basin five times, covering more than 50,000 kilometers.


1、Le -- Fire and soil of loess Culture



The culture of the Yellow River basin occupies a very high position in the development history of Chinese civilization. The Yellow River is the cradle of the Chinese nation, is our Chinese people are proud of the mother river, not only because of the Yellow River itself has this character, loud and defiant, indomitable personality colors, and as a nation of the existence of the Chinese people, generation after generation of sadness and joy, life and death, success and failure, mostly associated with the Yellow River. Only when the wisdom, ideals, dignity and self-sufficiency of the Chinese are rooted in the land where the Chinese have lived for generations can they become a vivid reality. The Yellow River of the world is ninety-nine bend, bend to bend, always did not leave its place to depend on the Chinese earth that pillow is wearing, and these only seem to be truly clear when the value of the Yellow River, just can fulfill the expectation. As a child who grew up drinking water from the Yellow River, it is inevitable that I choose to depict the culture of the Yellow River basin with watercolor in this life.


The formation of culture in the Yellow River basin is the result of the integration of The Chinese nation and other tribes for thousands of years. Some clues can be found in the Yinshan rock paintings, Helan Mountain rock paintings, Qijia culture, Miaodigou culture, Yangshao culture, Majiayao culture, Dawenkou culture and Longshan culture, as well as the statues and murals in Longmen Grottoes, Yungang grottoes, Dunhuang grottoes and Maijishan grottoes. The water of the Yellow River comes from heaven and flows to the sea and never returns. Since formed 1.2 million years ago, the Yellow River, upstream of the people saw it clear, in the middle of the stream have seen the scale, downstream of people seen it wobble, it connect to the spiritual support of the Chinese people, every moment of life and death, it is the Chinese great connection in time and space, by doing a lot of potential, break through, connections to everything, Thus shaping the continuous Chinese civilization of the country.


2、 Water -- Gold and water in loess culture



For five thousand years, the Yellow River basin gave birth to hetu luoshu, produced the twenty-four solar terms, with a complete twenty-four history, as well as Lao-tzu, Confucius, Zhuangzi and the hundred schools of thought as well as Tao, Law, Yin and Yang, the five elements and so on, which influenced the Chinese civilization for five thousand years.


Use watercolor to performance of the Yellow River culture category is very solemn thick national subjects, it doesn't seem to fit, but I believe that I am the son of the Yellow River, will drive of the Yellow River, strong-willed, magnificent, unruly personality, like the Yellow River roaring, collapsed and the agitation surging blood into the ocean of the world civilization in the new century.


Over the past five thousand years, the Chinese nation has created a great deal of spiritual and material wealth with its wisdom, some of which are known to us and some unknown to us. From the known philosophy, science, aesthetics, poetry, calligraphy, painting, architecture and sculpture: Painting works should be broken out of the perfect combination of technology and interest. They should not only have charm, ink, color and culture, but also have abundant, deep and pure thoughts that are free from all kinds of limitations. More important is to mind, personality, have no action, no action, no success.
