Social values are at the center of Mazzanti's architecture, which seeks to realize projects that give value to social transformations and that build communities. He has dedicated his professional life to improve the quality of life through the design of the environment and the idea of social equality.  His work has become a reflection of the current social changes occurring in Latin America and Colombia, showing that good architecture manages to build new identities for cities, towns and inhabitants, transcending reputations of crime and poverty.

The main achievements:

Throughout his career he has been distinguished with different national and international awards. Some of them are: winner of the Ibero-American Biennial in the category of Best Architectural Work in 2008 (Lisbon, Portugal), winner of the Pan American Architecture Biennial in the category of Architectural Design in 2008 (Quito, Ecuador), winner of the Prize Global Sustainable Architecture (Paris France) in 2010.

In 2013, Mazzanti Team is selected among the 10 most innovative companies in the world by the American magazine Fast Company. Since 2017 he has been part of the AIA Honorary Fellowship program, which recognizes international architects for their exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society at the international level. In 2018, he was a winner in the “Hospital and health care architecture” category of the Italian Archmarathon award in 2018 and the “Building of the Year” prize promoted by Archdaily.

The Mazzanti Team was chosen as one of the one hundred best architecture firms in 2019, according to a special edition published in March of this year by the Domus magazine, and in which the result of ninety years of exploration of architecture and architecture is presented. design. For the elaboration of the list, in which architecture is the central and crucial point of discussion, the last ten editor-in-chief of the magazine were asked what, in their opinion, are the architectural firms known for their cultural innovation. The publication highlights in The Mazzanti Team the systemic vision and the work done horizontally with professionals from various areas to achieve with architecture, a way to induce and produce new social dynamics.
