In 2002 Carlos Gomez obtained his Master of Arts Degree in Architecture at the Superior Technical School of Architecture (ETSAB) of Catalonia’s Polytechnic University in Barcelona. Moreover, in 2010 he got a Postgraduate Degree in Advanced Architecture and Digital Design (ADDA) at Elisava School of Design, focusing on the relevance of the new digital paradigms in the design process.

For almost 20 years he has been successfully working internationally as a Design Architect and Director, enrolled in several projects around China, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Mauritius, Vietnam, Mexico and Spain. Since 2003 Carlos has also been lecturing as a University Professor at several Universities in different cities.

He started his professional career In 2004 he worked as a Corporate Architect at Sirenis Hotels Group (Ibiza); then from 2006 to 2012 he started his collaboration as an Associate Architect at Design & Building Services (Barcelona) and in the years 2008-2010 he also became Associate Architect at A&CA Architects (Barcelona).

In 2009 he was offered a professorship at the Superior Technical School of Engineering Sarria (IQS) of the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where he taught until 2012.

In 2010 Carlos joined CMS Architects (Barcelona) as Chief Designer, company in which he worked until 2012, when he started collaborating as Chief Designer at HSA Architects, a company based in Shenzhen (China). Moreover, in 2014 he held a position as Design Director at PTW Architects, leading a team of architects to complete large-scale projects in Shenzhen and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam); later, in 2016, he began his own firm in Shenzhen, CRG Architects, as a Partner and Principal Designer, managing projects in Shenzhen, Beijing, Mauritius and Lagos (Nigeria). Lately, along 2017, Carlos expanded his studio opening a new office in Beijing.

He does have considerable expertise in the field of construction and architecture; moreover, his experiences and skills, acquired worldwide, give him the proper tools to become a XXI century architect working in an international environment.

Mr. Gomez is Spanish and Catalan native speaker and he can fluently speak English at professional level; furthermore he has elementary Chinese and German skills.
