openUU (pronounced “open, you! you!”) is an award-winning design studio founded by Kevin Lim, Edward Yujoong Kim and Eddy Man Kim in Ithaca, NY, where they attended Cornell University together. In 2012, Kevin, Edward and Eddy moved their design practice and established their presence in Hong Kong. The team brings their international background, unique design aesthetics and vision to approach projects with playful pragmatism.

Under Kevin‘s leadership and vision, openUU focuses on space conversions and warehouse renovations in the commercial realm, with garnered expertise in the retail and F&B industry. The team is interested in creating supernormal moments by re-searching and re-arranging super normal, everyday notions.

openUU creates to engage with people, and engages with people to create.

openUU’s clients include Swire Properties, Nike, Havaianas, Osage Gallery, Para/Site and FoFo by el Willy.
