A1 Certified Designer

● Entry Requirements (Meet one of the following):
A. Holds a bachelor's degree in a design-related field AND has at least 2 years of full-time design work experience.

C. Recommended by one APDF Senior (or higher) Certified Designer or Council Member.

A. Has maintained A1 Certified Designer status for at least 3 years.
B. Can provide evidence of at least 5 design projects demonstrating significant industry impact or having received authoritative awards.
C. Has a record of professional contributions such as public speaking, teaching, or judging, either on APDF platforms or within the wider industry.

B. Requires joint recommendation from at least two current Honorary Members or Council Members.
C. Their achievements must undergo a review and defense before the Council and receive a supermajority vote for approval.
