Blue Moon Hotel is a theme design hotel. It has a very distinct theme: emotion. The original design includes not only the interior of the hotel but also the hotel name, logos, and installation art which finally creating a consistent brand image. Brand logo design was inspired by the moon, it is entrusted with the dreams and hopes of the Chinese people. Device art and the lamps combination, expression of Chinese on moon of understanding and comprehensions. Human’s life just like the moon sometimes clear and sometimes cloudy, moon is round and then crescent, rising and then falling. Beside, the moon reflects the life spirit of Chinese culture to the endless pursuit of wisdom and peaceful character. Because this hotel is subject to the constraints of the site, the ground does not have enough space to set up hotel lobby, so the hotel lobby sets on the top floor of the building with the open ceiling which can let the customers see the stars and more close to the Moon. Central lounge in the lobby, lighting combinations full of space like a constellation, with the moon light come from sunroof, the unique installation art which is made of colorful paper, glass, forms an unique pattern and high-low structure, to create the moon as a viable carrier. Carrying our perception of limited life and eternity of the Moon, thus pursuing a beautiful and better life as peace as the moon. The Light of Christ's Salvation Church It’s A Spiritual 7-Eleven We intended to create the identity of The Light of Christ's Salvation Church within Taichung City and so that it would play a role as communicator in local community in order to build up new historic and urban context which has been disappearing in surrounding urban spaces. The church was defined as a place of having dialogue between God and human. Therefore, we took the notion of Noah Ark as a symbol of church which originated from the Bible to represent a volume of major chapel locating on top of the mass. We also applied the concept of spiritual “Seven-Eleven”, common convenient stores in Taiwan, into design. It was a place not only for religious activities but also for local events, and a hub for local people to have a place for social and religious gathering without much pressure and burden.

“Simplicity?Happiness”of Borcci is the essence from another fierce collisionof modern technology and classical elements.Naturally endowed with characteristics of “simplicity” and “happiness”, it resembles a white rose, gentle yet firmly blooming alone. With pure white as the main color, carved with a few lines, it is seemingly simple but makes the best essence of thehistory bloom.Without abrupt appearance, the technicsof baking, which isbright as mirror, lively tells aboutthe vitality and new life brought by modern science and technology. The product absorbs the elements of beauty from the Chinese style, but at the same time, differs from other Chinese retro products.With white piano baking varnish technics leading in the industry adopted inthe surface, the product has modern but yet Chinese flavor. The site is surrounded by rice field where wind blows through well. This is one of the areas with much quantity of wind-generated electricity in Japan, and this project is based on the concept of “wind”. Planning is layout corridor of the ring shape as an image that wind around and each room volume as blade of the windmill. Consequently, even while maintaining the independence, there is a sense of unity through the corridor and courtyard. And it secures natural lighting and ventilation by the opening of the high-side windows of classrooms and playroom, and windows of the corridor, which is not to depend on the machine. It is timber and one-story building, and it has low canopies outer perimeter of the building. There is a wood deck terrace under the canopy, and it is possible to use as semi-outdoor space by a large opening of the classroom. Where children use is shown the timber beams and it expresses that it is timber building. Even out of those, lunch room is created a state close to the natural environment by timber fitting of large opening and terrace connect with full of green courtyard. Children enjoy lunchtime in this comfortable space. The green courtyard can be see and accessed from any place is planned as a place where　 children create play and discover small from various planting. In addition, there is a children’s toilet with a large glass window face to the courtyard. It is bright and fun space that children want to go. There is also an effect that does not smell by ultraviolet rays that enters always.

The site is located in the area where rias coastline followed. Calm sea spread to the south, and there is a mountain that can feel the power of nature. You can feel the earth, building of the kindergarten that opens to the sea. There is a difference in height of 12m on the site. Children have been devised to be able to feel the eyes and signs each other while taking advantage of this step. The building layout and flow line plan is planed according to transportation and childcare programs particularly. In addition, in order to encourage a diverse movement of children, we have a place making, such as born a variety of operation with the body in the building. For example, while providing many small steps, it attracts children with the small cave, wall-painting blackboard and bookshelf, and the material of the floor makes children’s mood changes. Also, by providing an elongated stairs of the extent to which children can pass, there is a loft that go up with ropes and climbing bars. Ahead of the roof that pass through this elongated stairs, there is a deck terrace open towards the sea, it is as if floating in the sea. And there is an external rope play equipment connected to the second floor from the terrace, there is a migratory. Through such movement, it improve the physical strength and attentiveness, and grow a challenging mind. Moreover, we believe that art activities is important element to grow the sensibility. By providing a glazed special room that is easy to see and understand then children can concentrate even more interested. Furthermore, there are external and integral dining terrace facing the dining atrium, which create the atmosphere of a building that is open to the sea. By providing the children’s counter, it makes opportunities of food education through serving, and also be easy to use for neighborhood and parents have given the strong links.

This project was launched as reconstruction aid business of nursery building that was destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.Because after that had been forced to live in a prefabricated building for nursery with UNICEF support the earthquake, in the framework of this subsidized projects present condition restoration, it was a proposition to recover as soon as possible. Iwaki City, the construction site is located in the southeast end of the Fukushima Prefecture, is the location of 30 a few kilometers from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant that caused the explosion, it is a place of about a few kilometers from the area, which access is regulated. Because here is an area that was affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and is a region next to the entrance regulatory area of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, it has also become refuge from the cities, towns and villages that has been regulating the residence, and more than 30,000 people which is 10% of the population of the city have been flowing from the area, and it has become a region that leave still heavily impact of the earthquake. Therefore, it becomes a serious problem in Iwaki city that children's physical fitness decreased obesity reduction due to lack of exercise. In addition, such as confirmation of the radiation dose also in play outside, even mental stress faced by caregivers and parents still greater. We wanted to solve the problem in this project by creating an environment that children can to play at their best in indoor that can play outside fullest, and caregivers also can be able to keep their eyes on children easy. We designed a long and wide corridor that they can run at full power, and installed Sand and the pool in indoors where they can play without worrying about radiation dose. Especially the space be able to run around in a part of the life activity line called "corridor", and doorway of the same size is lined up evenly, becomes strong aspect as part of the classroom, it is difficult to become a free shared space. Therefore, we wanted to remove dependency relationship classrooms and corridor by placing different sizes doorway randomly. In this way, it has become the place that children of all classes would be able to run around freely. In addition, large and small doorways give a fun for to go in and out, caregivers can see children running around happily while repeating in and out, it helps to resolve the lack of exercise and stress.

This site is located in Miyakojima where it's about 2000 km away from Tokyo in Japan to the southwest. Miyakojima belongs to a subtropical oceanic climate and is surrounded by blue sea and coral reef, and the island where Ryukyu limestone rose. The Building is required to close for making shade and also open for ventilation, because of the environment that hotness and humid by many typhoon attack. This plan was made strongly against typhoon and shut out the sunlight by leading with the construction through which a wind blows. We planned the space locate in the first floor that is public, a studio and an atelier for the creative activity which attached great importance to bringing up creativity of the childhood, and dining for food education. And childcare room and picture book corner locate in the second floor that is private. Take advantage of this thin site, the first floor placed play ground -studio - atelier - courtyard - dining continuous and it became one large space and wind blows through when open windows. It’s based on traditional wooden red roofing tile architecture seen in this area. The structure is steel reinforced concrete construction that endure a typhoon invasion. Around outer perimeter of the building, low canopies and screen made by concrete blocks with a holes which is original building material in this area protect from flying objects and shut out the sunlight through keep view and wind. The color of the outer wall tile was chosen the one which is similar to the traditional red roof tile color and it would blend into the region. The window widely opened let in comfortable wind and sunlight in the room. The studio contiguous with a playground, the atelier contiguous with a courtyard and the dining surrounded by a terrace and a courtyard are comfortable space where inside and outside continued. Children do sound play in the studio and do production activity in the atelier, and can enjoy lunchtime while feeling comfortable wind in the dining. A playground and dining garden has traditional plant FUKUGI and GAJUMARU, and feel a seasonal change by bear fruits. Also workshops are held in the studio and atelier with lecturers invite from outside of the nursery. From this nursery in the island far away from Tokyo, manager, parents and neighborhood work together and transmit various situations to the center beyond the limit of the child education.

Education program that can be obtained in recent infant facilities are also diversified, flexibility is sought in the facility. Children buy this furniture at the time of admission to the kindergarten and bring back their home at the time of graduation. This system makes furniture in the kindergarten be updated annually, and also keeps the interior clean. Because it is also possible to change the shape every time to update, furniture itself has variability. Also, in order to be able to open all the joinery, they can use the entire interior of the building as semi-outdoor space. In addition, because it is provided with external screen on the outer periphery, it blocks a strong sunlight and rain. And it is possible to open the roof of atrium, to create a paddles with the rain that falls in the atrium. It has become a great playground for children. In winter, this basin will be frozen and can be used as a skating rink. Because it is possible to open and close the roof, they can play badminton and soft volleyball, etc. to fit the weather at the piloti. Furthermore, it also becomes like dining rooms in conjunction with adjacent kitchen, and can also be used as an external space to the internal space by opening and closing the roofs and joinery.
