Project Name:"Observing Self-Existence"
Winner name:
WangRuizhu
Introduction:
"Guān Zì Zài" (Observing Self-Existence) Introduction: Those who observe self-existence have a free and unfettered mind. With a free and unfettered mind, one can handle matters with ease. In traditional Chinese culture, bamboo is not only a symbol of purity and perseverance, but its "hollow inside and straight outside" is also seen as an embodiment of open-mindedness and directness towards one's true self. It emphasizes the concept of "a world in a flower, a buddha in a leaf", focusing on perceiving universal truths in ordinary things and pursuing spiritual enlightenment and liberation.
Another interpretation of "Guan Zizai" lies in the combination of "Guan" and "Zizai". This art installation uses the bamboo forest as a natural canvas. The "Bamboo Forest Inquiry and Observation" installation art, centered around bamboo as its core element, guides people on a unique journey of spiritual and philosophical exploration within the bamboo forest.
