Introduction：

San Tung Fong Commercial Inn North Wing, formerly known as Lok Kok Teahouse, sits in the heart of Macao’s Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro. Founded in 1913 as “De Xin” by Guangzhou’s famed “Tea House King” Tan Kit Nam, it became one of the city’s Four Great Teahouses. After decades of vacancy, the building was transformed in 2023 by the New Orient Group into a boutique hotel with 62 guest rooms. Blending Art Deco details with modern restraint, the design features natural oak, bronze accents, and custom tilework inspired by the teahouse’s heritage. Five light wells bring daylight into the compact layout, preserving a sense of comfort and elegance. The revival is both a tribute to Macao’s layered history and a restful stop for today’s travelers.
