Introduction：
Confronting the rapid decline in Cantonese usage, this project establishes an interactive Cantonese cultural experience center within the metaverse to preserve this "living fossil of Ancient Chinese" embodying the essence of Lingnan culture. Utilizing a digital twin of the Lingnan architecture in Guangzhou's Yongqing Fang, it creates an immersive experience guided by the principle of "visible sounds, audible exhibitions," enabling visitors to traverse time and space to appreciate Cantonese's allure and witness the cultural evolution of the Pearl River Delta. Integrating cutting-edge interactive technologies and metaverse concepts, and grounded in Jan Assmann's "cultural memory" theory, the project explores the multidimensional reconstruction of cultural memory. It aims to innovatively preserve Cantonese culture, foster Greater Bay Area exchange, and heighten public awareness regarding dialect protection and the defense of cultural diversity.
