Project Name:Miranova– A Space of Fluid Light and Perception
Winner name:
Prelude Interior Design
Prelude Interior Design/Chen Min-Yan
Introduction:
Constrained by ceiling height, the space’s sense of enclosure is released through mirrors, translucent materials, and fluid curves. Light moves freely, refracting, reflecting, and permeating surfaces to extend perception and create a weightless, layered ambiance.
Curved walls guide light in motion, dissolving boundaries between real and reflected. Circular seating forms luminous focal points, interwoven to shape a rhythmic spatial flow. Divisions are no longer rigid but merge through layered light, mirrored depths, and organic contours, fostering an immersive experience.
A haircut is more than a transformation—it is a ritual. As strands fall, reflections shift, revealing new contours. Light dissolves edges, unveiling movement and renewal. In this space, boundaries blur, perception evolves, and transformation unfolds fluidly.
