Introduction：

Located in the core area of the old campus of Xiamen Academy of Arts and Design, Fuzhou university, the project was transformed from a large sculpture studio in the 1980s, which was formerly a studio with several well-known contemporary sculpture artists. We transformed it into a complex art space integrating coffee, exhibition, and retail while taking maintaining its original features as a principle, thus focusing on the multiple expression of aesthetics, showcasing a corner of aesthetics in one space. Different kinds of themed designs and artistic exhibitions will be held there regularly to select global independent designers’ products and feel the core of aesthetics in the atmosphere of the smell of coffee. The combination of decomposing reality and ideals makes every customer of 1/2Coffee Roasters a member of aesthetic life, forming a complete artistic utopia, where you meet the Muse in your mind.
