_Architectural concept

The new construction of the concert hall for the Vienna Boys' Choir takes up the typology of the gatehouse and creates a new context of meaning for this Josephine commercial and residential building.An ensemble of historical and new buildings is being developed,

which sensitively takes up the scale of this urban space.A motto of the Vienna Boys' Choir 'Preserve tradition and shape the future' is reflected in the architecture.
