Introduction：

DAWN OF SPRING, is a residential community located within International Eco-Aquapolis, Zhengzhou, China. The demonstration area is situated at the crossroad on the southwest of the residential community. The building echoes with the street corner through the subtly-cut blocks. It's a three-storey volume, with the second and third floors lifted above the transparent block at the bottom, hence creating a "floating" architectural image.

Taking white color as the main hue, the architects restructured the facades through the combination of points, lines and planes. The upper facades of the main building body are composed of perforated plates, while the lower parts are clad in glass, which blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The whole building seems to float above water.
