Project Name: Lanzhou Yellow River Landmark Tower
Introduction:
Lanzhou is the capital and largest city of Gansu Province in northwest China. The city, located in the geometrical center of China and on the bank of the Yellow River, is a key regional transportation hub, connecting areas farther west by rail to the eastern half of the country. Historically, it has been a major link on the Northern Silk Road. The city is also a center for heavy industry and petrochemical industry.
This site is set on the Yellow River Across from a large park near central Lanzhou. There are parks on either side of the river, both of which are tourist attractions. This site is an optimal place to create a building that connects the
parks, and to create a new park on the island to the north.
