Born in St Paul, Brazil, graduated from Santos Architecture University in St Paul in 1985. His thesis "From a Town to Unity" won the Brazil national scholarship.

Since Professor Long Bai Du obtained employment,thanks to its outstanding contributions in the field of architecture, it has won 17 prizes from Brazil and the United States.He opened his personal office in 1996, master long Bai Du is good at combining with industrial design in architectural design and  running the green concept through the whole process of housing design, construction and use.

He was issued the award by ADG Brazil. Designed the exihibition booth project for Tafisa and Giroflex in 2002, won the AsBEA honorary award. In 2008, he was invited to participate in the German Red Dot Award and won the Red Dot Award for the design of Livraria Cultura Bookstore in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
