IAI Design Award

1. Entry Work
Participation extends to all design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals from all over the world. Any person of them can participate.

2. Work Requirement
(only apply to interior design, architectural design and industrial product design)

For example, for interior design category, the entry work that is completed in recent one year is eligible for the competition; for architectural design category, the entry work that is built within three years is eligible for the competition; for industrial product design category, the entry work that is created in less than two years is eligible for the competition; All the entries must be the entrants’ own.



3. Participants’ Obligations

All the applicant applying for participating in IAI Design Award must obey the following obligations:

  1. 1). Submit works and related materials according to the review committee’s requirements.
    2). Complete the move in and move out of the review period works.
    3). If the review committee needs, you would need to participate in the site assessment or
    introduce your works to the judges
    4). For the winning entries, their information must be disclosed in the official website of
    APDF and IAI Design Award Yearbook.
    5). Participate in the award-winning exhibition.
    6). Pay the required amount of money according to the requirements of each stage.


4. Information Disclosure

To promote social participation and deepen public understanding of design, IAI Design Award events will be disclosed from selection to the result of each process released.
IAI Design Award Winning Entries Collection: the official IAI repository, stores the information of all past winners, providing the comments of award-winning works to the public as the third party evaluation.

1) Public Information
The organizer  will announce a part of the entries content.
2) Copyright
The copyright of all the information of registration works belongs to the applicants (including pictures). The organizers can only use the information in the review, public information, database and other promotional activities. Applicants need to agree that the organizers can modify related information according to the appropriate use in the permission range.
3) Obligation of Confidentiality
The organizers, judges, and related institutions have an obligation to all the works information confidentiality.
4) Results of the Review
After the evaluation, the organizers will announce the feedback information and the reasons to win in the official website. The organizers will not accept any advisory towards detailed results of individual assessment.
