The chairman of the judging committee of the IAI AWARDS 2011 competition, Benedetta Tagliabue, one  of the founders of the Spanish architects EMBT and the Spanish Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo, won the Barcelona World Architecture Festival Award and the Royal Society of Architecture International Award 2010 . In 2010, she was selected as the Outstanding Woman of the Year by the Spanish newspaper Le Monde.
