Fudan University professor, Ph.D., enjoying special allowance from the State Council. He is currently the vice president of the China Communication Society, the director of the National Cultural Innovation Research Center of Fudan University, and the director of the International Public Relations Research Center of Fudan University.
Meng Jian has rich theories and practices in social development, cultural studies, and news dissemination. Meng Jian published more than 20 monographs and published more than 100 academic papers at home and abroad.
In recent years, he has had outstanding achievements in national and regional cultural strategy research, national and urban image communication research, crisis management and media communication.
Meng Jian has hosted a number of major and key projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels.Such as: National Social Science Fund major bidding project “National Image Construction and Cross-Cultural Communication Strategy Research”,"Study on the China Image Creation and Communication Strategy of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games", “2010 Shanghai World Expo: Research on Shanghai Image Competition Strategy”, “G20 Summit, The New Image Construction and Communication in Hangzhou”, “BRIC Summit: Xiamen Image Enhancement and Communication Strategy”and other over ten programs, and he has served as the chief experts or the leader of the research team of these projects.
